How to Apply
  • Information Session
    • Two information sessions will be held for the 2012-2013 Net Impact Sustainability Certificate Program. They will go into more detail about what you can expect for the program, what the admission requirements are, and how you can get involved. These sessions aren’t mandatory but are highly encouraged. They will be held: 

      Monday April 30, 2012 7– 8pm in Gerlach Hall 285

      AND

      Friday May 4, 2012 3:30– 4:30 pm in Gerlach Hall 315
  • Admission Criteria:
    • While there is no cap on the number of students who can participate in the certificate, not all students will qualify.  This program is intended for students who already engaged in and possess a basic understanding of sustainability. All students are judged individually by merit in a blind committee of students and mentors. Students will be evaluated on the following criteria:

      Passion for Sustainability

      Previous Academic Performance

      Extra-Curricular Involvement

      Understanding of Sustainability
  • How to Apply
    • Please send an email to OsuSustainabilityCertificate@gmail.com titled Application- First name Last name (example: Application- John Smith). This email should include the following:
      1. Current Resume:
      2. Please include intended major (put undecided if not sure), current GPA, work experience, and extra-curricular experiences.
      3. Statement of Interest: Include a one page statement which explains why you are interested in sustainability, what sustainability means to you, and why the Sustainability Certificate program will help you explore your passion. Indicate specific interests in a given area that you are particularly passionate about.
    • These items should be included as attachments and be sent in no later than 11:59pm Sunday May 20. Late applications will not be considered. In the body if the email please indicate if you are interested in a leadership position. Selection for the Leadership Team will take place after applications are processed.
